Our Favorite MF Recipe: The Vegan Berry Tart

Yes, I served this at a brunch. Yes, we ate all of it. Ideally indulged outside with your favorite people. 


Ingredients:
2 cups almond meal
1 tablespoon coconut oil (solid -ish form)
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 individual sized containers of dairy free yogurt (I personally like coconut yogurt)
2 to 3 cups BERRIES
a little bit of cinnamon, a little bit of pink himalayan salt

How:
In a mixing bowl, mix together the almond flour, salt, cinnamon, and coconut oil with your hands. Then, add maple syrup and vanilla extract to bind it all together, and blend until smooth with a spatula! Here’s your dough.
Then, using a 9-inch tart pan (make sure the bottom is removable), spread the crumbly dough to cover the bottom of the pan and push up against the sides and bottom to form a crust. Pour the yogurt over the new crust and freeze at least two hours or up to overnight. 
Then, remove and top with your favorite fresh berries.
